It is for 2 days, 1 night, and allows 4 dives, plus 1 night dive. Departure Information Departure is from B finger, Marlin Marina, Cairns at 8:00 AM Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, return time 5:00 PM. The Dive This trip visits dive sites that will give you the best diving available. Choices include Moore, Elford, and Thetford Reefs; Sudbury Cay and Fitzroy and Green Islands, according to the wind, weather, tide and currents. Many of their dive sites are exclusive, and with no more than 10 divers in the water, you might feel like you have the entire reef to yourself! Divers can make up to 5 dives during the trip, including a night dive. Snorkelers will find there is plenty of time to spend in the water. The evening is spent enjoying dinner, doing a night dive, and relaxing in the cozy galley area. The Boat The Vagabond is a 68-foot steel, sailing yacht, set up for comfortable long-distance cruising and comfortable onboard life. Built in 1990, she recently received a major refit. The large aft deck offers plenty of room for gearing up, while the foredeck is perfect for post-dive sun worshipping. Double cabins and twin bunks accommodate its 10 passengers. (Keep in mind this is a sailboat, so cabin space is cozy.) All meals are prepared on board, with refreshments available 24 hours. No starvation rations on this trip!
